Welcome to our spectacular Summer of CyberSong!
This term we’re putting all of our energy into running a ‘virtual’ term – embracing and engaging with the incredible online creativity happening around the world. We’ll be continuing our roof-raising weekly Zoom sessions, starting on Thursday 23rd April and working towards hosting an online gig ‘Zoom for Water’ on July 16th in aid of the fantastic charity Water Aid.
New to Zoom? Click here for Hullabaloo Quire’s helpful guide to joining Zoom sessions.
We will be focusing on FOUR of our core repertoire songs. The songs will be taught and rehearsed online and there will, of course, be the usual online resources & homework 😉 ! As well as this, there will be warm ups, choir games and some special online shenanigans.
Our focus for the term will be a video recording project that will make up part of the Zoom for Water gig, alongside performances by guest musicians. Speaking of which…
…are you joining Raise the Roof, and are you a songwriter, in a band, play an instrument? If you are and you would be interested in performing live online as part of the July 16th gig drop us an email.
